Back when I was getting my start in floral design, I struggled to piece together original designs from my dream list of flowers. I thought that surely if I had a dozen Juliet roses and some peach ranunculus the details would just fall into place. I couldn’t have been more wrong.

About Us
Root Design Company started as a wedding floral design business. We were wedding florists for a decade before we were flower farmers. We made every mistake in the book during those early years, and these classes are born from the struggle we faced when starting out.
In 2022 we had the privilege of doing the flowers for our own weddings. It was the most fun we’ve ever had as wedding florists. LaRonda got married in May and Rosita got married in August.
Rosita also grew 90% of the flowers we used in her wedding. If this is something you think you would like to do, too, we also have a cut flower gardening course that will teach you how to grow an abundant cut flower garden.
Growing and designing your own wedding flowers will be a lot of work, but we can tell you that, having come through it, we have zero regrets.
