Our Approach to Wedding Floral Design

Flowers have a natural movement and grace. When designing a bouquet, we prefer to let the flowers and greenery set the shape rather than forcing them to bend to our stubborn will. This is especially important with the beautiful form of wild and foraged things.

We’re partial to classic, elegant floral design, especially bouquets that feel like someone took a stroll through an English garden and picked whatever they could find.  We love classic styles full of whimsical details and a contradiction of elements.

We think the best flowers are seasonal flowers, fresh-picked with the dew still on them.  It is hard to beat the fragrance of a garden rose or a handful of lemon basil in your bouquet.

We believe there is confidence in simplicity.

Whether it’s a formal affair or a hoedown in a barn, the principles of elegant restraint apply.  We believe a few tasteful splurges go further than a low murmur of flowers everywhere.
